Acceptance
By installing or using Nimbus8 ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app. These terms are a contract between you and the team that publishes Nimbus8 ("we", "us").
Your license
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Nimbus8 on Apple devices you own or control, subject to Apple's App Store rules and these terms. We retain all rights in the app that are not expressly granted to you.
You may not resell Nimbus8, redistribute it as your own work, remove attribution from bundled open-source components, interfere with licensing or entitlement checks, or reverse-engineer the app except where applicable law allows it.
Acceptable use
Nimbus8 is a general-purpose tool. You are responsible for what you do with it. You agree not to use the app to:
- Create or distribute unlawful content or content that violates another person's intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or contractual rights.
- Create sexual content involving minors, incite violence, or promote serious harm.
- Deceptively impersonate a real person, commit fraud, send spam, or distribute malware.
- Attempt to compromise the security of a device or service you do not control.
- Evade provider terms, model licenses, export rules, safety systems, or rate limits.
Because Nimbus8 runs primarily on your device, we cannot monitor or prevent every misuse. Responsibility for your use of the app, your credentials, your connected accounts, and your outputs sits with you.
Open-source models
Nimbus8 lets you download and run third-party open models from catalogs such as Hugging Face and Civitai. Each model is distributed under its own license - sometimes permissive, sometimes restrictive, sometimes gated behind terms you must accept with the model provider.
When you download or use a model, you are responsible for following that model's license and use restrictions. Nimbus8 may surface license metadata for convenience, but the provider's published license controls.
Agents & automation
Ashe and Cirrus can call tools, write files, create diffs, open pull requests, run previews, or deploy projects when you authorize them. Destructive or external actions ask for confirmation by default.
You can change approval settings or enable unattended behavior. If you do, you accept responsibility for the actions performed under your device, provider accounts, repositories, API keys, and deploy credentials. Review generated content, code, translations, and automation before relying on them.
Connected providers
If you connect GitHub, Hugging Face, Civitai, E2B, Vercel, Netlify, Railway, OpenRouter, an OpenAI-compatible endpoint, a search provider, or another service, your use of that provider is also governed by that provider's terms and privacy policy.
Nimbus8 is not responsible for provider outages, policy changes, billing, rate limits, model removals, sandbox behavior, deployment failures, or provider-side retention of data you choose to send there.
Payment
Nimbus8 Pro is a one-time Apple In-App Purchase lifetime unlock for the covered v1 features. It is not a subscription, does not auto-renew, and restores through Apple on devices signed in with the purchasing Apple ID.
Apple handles billing, refunds, taxes, family sharing eligibility, and purchase records. Nimbus8 does not sell outside the App Store and does not issue separate license tokens for iOS or iPadOS digital features.
Your content
You own your prompts, files, conversations, project code, generated drafts, and other content you put into Nimbus8, subject to any model or provider license that applies. We do not claim ownership over your local content.
When a model generates output for you, that output is yours to use as you see fit to the extent permitted by applicable law and the underlying model or provider terms.
Intellectual property
The app, its design, the Nimbus8 name and logo, and the module brand names (Gale, Cirrus, Ashe, Mist, Stratus, Overture, Haze, Zephyr, Mirage, and related marks) are ours. Do not use them to imply endorsement, affiliation, or authorship of other products without permission.
No warranty
Nimbus8 is provided as is and as available, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that model outputs are accurate, safe, complete, non-infringing, secure, or fit for a particular purpose. Treat every generation as a draft that deserves review, especially for anything consequential.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to Nimbus8 is limited to the amount you paid for Nimbus8 in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or lost-profit damages.
Termination
You can terminate these terms at any time by uninstalling Nimbus8. We can terminate or suspend access to future support, updates, support endpoints, or Nimbus-hosted services if you materially breach these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms as Nimbus8 changes. If we do, we will update the effective date above and note material changes in the changelog or release notes. Continuing to use the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the publishing entity is registered, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that isn't resolved informally will be handled in the courts of that jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you reside.
